From a walk on the trail, or what's left of it, in Green Cove, March 10, 2025, afternoon.
This is between trestle numbers 42 & 41, about 1.5 miles below the Green Cove Station.
This section is one that demonstrates why the rebuild will be a lengthy and intensive process.
The erosion of the trail here is easily 10-15 feet deep.
To the unsuspecting eye, it would be hard to imagine there was ever a trail here, just six months ago.
