A 2 bedroom second story apartment over-looking the Laurel River with one queen bed in each, one full bath with washer and dryer, Living Room with Queen Lazy Boy Sleeper, Dining Area and full kitchen. Hiking and Biking are both traditions in Damascus, VA where five trails cross including the AT Trail, Virginia Creeper Trail, Trans-Continental Trail, Daniel Boone Trail and Iron Mountain Trail. Bike shops, both for rental and purchase are bountiful. Don't miss the 1,700 foot drop in 17 miles of gently winding bike trail from White Top Mountain to Damascus. Enjoy lunch and travel the final 17 miles to Abingdon, VA completing the 34 mile Virginia Creeper Trail carved from the bed of a long ago logging train.
